Ivan's upbringing took place on a small farm in Wright City, MO, where he was the youngest of nine children - eight boys and one girl. His father instilled the values of honor and hard work, while his mother emphasized respect and manners. He learned survival skills and the importance of comradery from the rest of his family.

His faith in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior serves as a guiding force in both his personal and professional life. Ivan is an active member of his church and always willing to extend a helping hand to those in need. He attests to the aid he has received from others throughout his life.

In 1998, his first wife, Pam, passed away after 16 years of marriage, which proved to be a humbling experience and taught him what families endure during tough times.

In 2010, he married his current wife Mary in the Cayman Islands. They live in St. Charles, MO, and are the proud parents of three daughters and several grandchildren. Ivan's daughters often challenge him about his inability to refuse his grandchildren's requests.

In July 2021, he contracted Covid-19, which led to an induced coma and ventilator and dialysis support for over three months. He spent six months in the hospital and underwent therapy to regain his strength, including learning to walk again during his recovery.

Ivan has invented several household products and developed prototypes for them. He understands the challenges of bringing a product to the market. He enjoys spending time outdoors or in the woods and can often be found there when not in the office.

Since 1983, Ivan has provided retirement planning and insurance products and prides himself on helping clients achieve a stress-free retirement.
